Dive beneath the surface of Epworth Hospital's rejuvenated Children's paedatric ward and kids will find plenty of reasons to smile, despite their reasons for being there. From the sandy shores and palms awaiting at reception and in the day ward, to the shipwrecks, submarines and physical play products in the overnight rooms and play room - every wall and corridor is covered in sea-themed play, proving distraction really is the best medicine.
 

Featuring: over 70 bespoke decals and murals, dozens of injured and recovering quirky sea creatures, mermaid nurses, puzzles, hidden treasure quests and counting games - all complimented by our interactive play products and seasonal wall projection. 

 

It's a space distinct from the rest of the hospital, while still leveraging Epworth's brand colour palette and graphic iconography. A place to bring relief and fun, for families and the nurses who work there too.
